Dr. Adel Alzahrani

Innovative and passionate development leader reflecting expertise in urban planning and development. Currently an Excutive Director for Community Development Charters at ROSHN Group. He is an urbanist with a background in “architecture, urban planning, and sustainability”. Adel is a former Deputy Minister for Urban Planning and Lands. As founder, curator, process designer, and facilitator of a series of design events and symposia in the last 15 years, bring experience in overseeing the delivery process and implementation of key national strategies in areas such as the National Urban Design and Public Realm Transformation strategy, the Urban Codes and Guidelines of Urban Identities, the Urban Regeneration and Urban Spatial Program, and the Parks and Micro-Mobility Strategy, and in enabling the Municipalities in relation to capacity building and significant public realm applications. Able to drive new business through providing excellent customer service and establish strategic stakeholder partnerships. Experienced in master planning and design management with expertise in the urban regeneration process while supporting the management of a city’s current infrastructure and urban resources.
